Every year, massive pods of humpback whales make their long trip to winter and have their calves in the warm, clear waters just offshore of  Punta de Mita. In the months between January and March, these amazing, inquisitive creatures can be viewed up close with Erasmo’s Tours boat expeditions. 

Besides whales, keep your eye out for pods of porpoises. They love to race the boat and show off their aerial acrobatics. Friendly sea turtles will often surface nearby to check out the boat.
